Environment Canada has issued another snowfall warning for Metro Vancouver, forecasting up to five more centimetres of snow to fall Sunday.
Rain is expected to take over by the afternoon, but the agency says flurries will persist in higher elevation areas.
Areas of the Fraser valley are expected to see between five and 20 centimetres through Monday, and up to 45 centimetres is forecast over Howe Sound as an Arctic pipeline continues to deliver icy weather down the B.C. coast.
Between 10 and 20 centimetres of snow is expected to fall over the Central Coast, where strong northeast winds are expected to hit 80 to 100 kilometres per hour overnight.
Drivers are warned that reduced visibility is likely due to blowing snow.
