Mounties in Kelowna, B.C. are asking the public to keep an eye out for a 15-year-old girl who's been missing more than a week.

The teen's family say they haven't heard from her since May 12. While she has stayed away from home in the past, police say she has always maintained some level of communication with her family.

Investigators say they have information the teenager could be in Metro Vancouver.

She is described as 5-2 tall, 100 lbs. with long brown hair, blue eyes and a slender build.
