Three people were arrested on Thursday and roughly $2-million dollars worth of marijuana seized in what Mounties are calling one the biggest grow-operations in B.C. history.

Police found 20 greenhouses containing about 18,000 marijuana plants at a property in the Eaglett Lake area, located about 40 kilometres east of Prince George.

Two men were arrested at the scene and a third fled the area on foot. He was caught after a lengthy chase involving police dogs.

Vancouver resident Bing Lung Wong, 37, was arrested with Ye Zhi Qiang, 41, and Khue Ba Vu, 29, of Quebec. All three face charges of marijuana cultivation.

The bust is going to "take a substantial amount of marijuana off the streets," Const. Lesley Smith said in a release.

Two industrial-sized heaters and two power generators were also taken from the property. The total value of seized items and drugs is estimated at $2.2-million.

Mounties are boasting another massive grow-op bust executed near Williams Lake on Friday, where 9,000 plants were also seized.

Five men, all from the Metro Vancouver area, were arrested.
