A man is dead following a stabbing on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside Sunday afternoon.
Police said they witnessed a fight around 4:30 p.m. at Main and East Hastings streets.
One of the men involved in the fight suffered a critical injury, and was rushed to hospital. He died shortly after.
VPD says no arrests have been made, noting that the homicide unit has been called to the scene.
Traffic delays of several hours were expected, and an investigation is ongoing.
This is the second stabbing incident to happen in the city in as many days.
Police say another man is in hospital in serious condition after he was stabbed Saturday afternoon in East Vancouver.
