Burnaby RCMP have arrested one man several blocks from where a woman was found dead inside a Burnaby, B.C., home.
B.C.'s Integrated Homicide Team spokesperson Dale Carr said police were called to a residence in the 8300-block of 14th Avenue just before 3:00 p.m. by a concerned neighbour.
Responding officers found a woman's body inside the home. Investigators have not said how she died, or who she is.
A man was arrested near a gas station several blocks from the residence. He remains in police custody.
Police have taped off a large area around the single-family home. RCMP with K9 units could be seen examining the grass in front of the residence.
