Two Vancouver police detectives are on their way to Calgary to interview a person of interest in a double homicide last month.

Calgary police arrested Jesus Manuel Guifarro in the city's southeast.

Police say he's wanted for questioning in relation the murder of two brothers on March 10.

Curtis Brandon Ponecappo, a 19-year-old Vancouver resident, and Daniel Troy Soosay, a 22-year-old who was visiting from out of province, were found shot to death in a Vancouver apartment at East 41st Ave. and Knight Street.

Metro Vancouver is in the throes of a gang war that has seen four dozen shooting incidents and 18 people shot to death since mid-January.
