The B.C. Lions placed offensive lineman Andrew Jones on the nine-game injured list Tuesday.
The six-foot-four, 302-pound Jones, a native of Niagara Falls, Ont., suffered a knee injury in the Lions' 16-12 loss to the Montreal Alouttes on Friday night.
The Lions promoted defensive lineman Sean Ortiz, of White Rock, B.C., from the practice roster to take Jones' spot on the club's 46-man roster.
B.C. also added import linebacker Adam Leonard and safety Doug Goldsby, also of White Rock, to the practice roster.
