Legendary producer Daniel Lanois talks U2, Dylan

Daniel Lanois has worked with some of the biggest names in music, from U2 to Neil Young. In Vancouver for a sold-out show at the Commodore Ballroom, the famed record producer visited CTV News for a rare sit-down interview.

In part one, Lanois offers a glimpse of what it's like working with legendary rock stars Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel.

In part two, he discusses his own music, including his inspirations and where he's headed with his new band, Black Dub.
