A meeting of Olympic minds in Russia beginning this week is expected to lay out all the hits and misses of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Vancouver officials are travelling to Sochi, the host city of the 2014 Winter Games, for the formal debrief on February's 17-day event.

Senior International Olympic Committee official Gilbert Felli says the expectation is not that Sochi copy all of Vancouver's moves but understand in detail what's involved in putting on a Games.

About 45 staff from Vancouver's committee are attending the meetings to present on all aspects of the Games.

The head of the 2010 organizing committee says Sochi organizers have asked to focus on some key areas, including venues and volunteer engagement.

John Furlong says the job of Vancouver organizers isn't to brag about how well their Games went but to help future hosts.
