Media outlets are reporting a search is underway for a female hang glider who disappeared after detaching from a tandem flight near Agassiz, B.C. Saturday afternoon.
Reports say police are using a helicopter to search the west face of Mount Woodside after the woman came loose from her straps and fell about 300 metres.
It is not yet known what caused the fall.
