A former member of the BC Lions football club has been found guilty of two sexual assaults.
Josh Boden had been charged with three sex assaults, and was convicted of two of them in provincial court in Vancouver this past Friday.
Criminal Justice Branch spokeswoman Samantha Hulme said Boden was also found guilty of assaulting a police officer and obstructing a police officer.
She says Boden will now undergo a psychiatric assessment and a pre-sentencing report and will likely be back in court sometime in the new year.
Hulme says two of the three sex assaults took place at the Burrard and Commercial Drive SkyTrain stations in 2009.
According to a Vancouver police media release, the female victim at the Burrard SkyTrain station had her buttocks and chest grabbed while she was on an escalator in late August 2009.
