RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Dale Koenders, a 46-year-old sex offender from Chilliwack, B.C., after he disappeared while on day parole.
Koenders has a history of violent sexual assault and has been classified a dangerous offender. In the past he's faced two assault charges and one charge of sexual assault against a woman.
He was last seen on the morning of June 30 on Chilliwack's north side wearing jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt and white running shoes. He is 5-9 tall, weighs 200 pounds, has blue eyes and brown hair.
Police believe Koenders is still in the Chilliwack area. Anyone who may have information about Koenders's whereabouts is asked to call police.
