The Vancouver Canucks are already looking forward to next year. The team announced its 2010 pre-season schedule Monday, June 21.

The Canucks will faceoff in eight pre-season games beginning Sept. 21 and ending on Oct. 1.

The first matchup with be a home-at-home series with rivals, the Calgary Flames. Half the squad will play at GM place on Sept. 21 at 7 p.m., while the other half of the Canuck's team will play at Calgary's Saddledome on the same day at 6 p.m.

The remaining six games are battles with the Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks.

Each game is a Western Conference matchup with the Canucks playing one game one home ice and one away game against their opponent.

The Canucks wrap up their pre-season in Anaheim on Friday, October 1, 2010, before the 2010-11 NHL season get underway in mid-October.

The Canucks official 2010-11 regular season schedule will be released Tuesday, June 22.
