This Mark James microbrewery is known to have standing room only during games because it's such a popular spot to watch the games. Its Wing Night Wednesdays is hard to beat for value. The pub will be handing out inflatable sticks to make some noise for the Nucks. There are eight high definition televisions and nightly beer specials. There's also a great view the float planes landing on the Fraser River, if you can take your eyes off the screen long enough.
In the heart of the Granville Street entertainment district, Forum does ticket giveaways for every second home game, plus draws for jerseys on all game nights. They have 21 big screens, including four 100 inch televisions. There are also 25 cent chicken wings on Wednesdays and tons of drink specials.
Just steps from the Yaletown Canada Line station, Hub could very well be the best spot to watch the Vancouver Canucks. They have a contest called "What the Puck" where revelers have a chance to win a gift card from a bucket of pucks every time the home team scores. Speaking of scoring, Hub's player of the year is Mason Raymond. Every time Raymond scores, everyone at the bar gets a free "hockey shot" or glass of beer.
Officials have announced plans to open up the massive arena to hockey fans for road games, but details about pricing and dates are still being worked out.
