A suspect has been arrested for the murder of a man whose body was found in a downtown Vancouver apartment on January 11.
Aaron Juhani Yliruusi, 30, has been charged with second degree murder after his arrest by the Comox Valley RCMP on Vancouver Island.
The 65-year-old victim's name is not being released as next-of-kin have still not been located.
Yliruusi was an acquaintance of the murder victim and known to police.
The murder took place in the 900 block of Richards Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. The cause of death has not been released.
Because Yliruusi is facing charges on Vancouver Island, a Vancouver court appearance is not yet set.
