A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash Saturday night on Vancouver Island.
An SUV was leaving a parking lot near Bowen Centre Mall in Nanaimo when it hit the motorcycle, police said.
Both vehicles went up in flames. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is not clear if speed was a factor in the crash.
