Two people are in hospital after a bizarre crash involving two vehicles and a cow closed Highway 1 in the Fraser Valley around 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Police say a truck travelling west on the highway near 232 Street in Langley struck and killed a cow. A car ended up on its roof after either hitting the truck or swerving to avoid it. A man and a woman in the car were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating where the cow came from and who owns it.
