B.C.'s 10 Most Wanted list has dropped to seven, after Mounties arrested a suspect in Surrey.

Dean Jeffrey Anderson was picked up during a traffic stop on Saturday. Another man in the car, Wyatt Costain, was also brought in.

Anderson had outstanding warrants for assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm from an incident where police say he hit a bar patron over the head with a bottle. He is also wanted for breach of probation and is considered a dangerous offender.

His arrest brings the list of the RCMP's ‘Top 10 Most Wanted' to seven.

Police urge the public to be careful if they see any of the remaining individuals on the list as they may be armed and dangerous.

Among the remaining suspects are United Nations gang members Conor D'Monte and Cory Vallee, and Arnold Louette Alexis, who is wanted for the 1978 murder of his common-law wife in Vernon.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call their local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
