1. Surrey stabbing: A man and a woman were rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries Sunday night after a stabbing in Surrey. 

2. Protest over a “teardown”: Concerned Vancouverites protested outside a Shaughnessy home on Sunday, expressing their frustration over its proposed demolition. The roughly $7-million home was recently renovated and critics say tearing down a well-built home goes against the city’s values. 

3. Arrested: A North Vancouver priest has been arrested and is facing five charges of historic sexual assault in Edmonton. Father Gordon William Dominey is alleged to have sexually assaulted five youth while employed at the Edmonton Youth Development Centre in the 1980s. 

4. Canine rescue: A team of Vancouver firefighters worked for more than 20 minutes to revive a dog suffering from smoke inhalation. The canine is now being cared for by a local vet and is expected to recover. 

5. No slow down: Premier Christy Clark says the recent changes to the pipeline review process won’t slow down the province’s push for liquefied natural gas. The revised process, which was announced at the end of January, will require pipeline reviews to include consultation with First Nations and consider future greenhouse gasses.
