"We are all Canucks" is one of the team's popular slogans. But, it appears Vancouver Canucks' President and CEO, Chris Zimmerman, will be hanging up his corporate uniform as early as Tuesday, August 4.

Zimmerman was hired by the former Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment group in October, 2006, and was responsible for the overall look and strategic direction of the company.  Zimmerman also headed all aspects of marketing, sponsorship, ticket sales and broadcasting.

During Zimmerman's tenure, the Canucks went back to their original blue, green and white colour scheme in an effort to create a "heritage look". The decision was very popular with fans, however not all of Zimmerman's decisions were. His "Seventh Fan Promotion" was met with luke-warm praise, while the signing of Mats Sundin also came under fire. Zimmerman also supported and helped create a DVD called, "Forever Faithful", which profiled the core group of players from the 2000-2004 seasons. The tribute DVD was sent to all season ticket holders and was also sold in stores for a limited time.

Before joining the Canucks, the New York native was President and CEO of Nike Bauer Hockey for three years.
