The body of an elderly woman was found after a house fire in Vancouver's Marpole neighbourhood Monday night.
Vancouver police were called to the scene of a fire in the 500-block of West 59th Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Firefighters had discovered a woman's body inside a house after extinguishing a fire there.
Investigators are not considering the fire to be suspicious, and police were not releasing further information Monday night.
