Vancouver police are distributing 35,000 posters featuring the pictures of suspects who may have been involved in the Stanley Cup riot.
Police Chief Jim Chu says the June 15 riot was extraordinary and requires extraordinary measures so suspected rioters can be identified and prosecuted.
He says the posters that include photos of 104 suspects are being handed out by volunteers at colleges, shopping malls and other places, and the images are also available online.
Vancouver police have already placed photos of riot suspects on their website, but this is the first time they've also created a poster.
Last month, police recommended multiple charges against 60 suspected rioters and said many more people would be charged as the investigation continues.
However, the Crown has not yet approved any charges.
