Nolan Toigo has been invited to the Vancouver Canucks 2009 rookie camp, and is set to make an impact.
The nephew of Vancouver Giants owner, Ron Toigo, is attending the NHL club's camp after a pair of outstanding seasons in the BCHL, during which he was a key figure in the Surrey Eagles line up.
The Delta native was a top scorer among Eagles defencemen in the 2008-09 season, and was co-winner of the team's best defenseman award.
Toigo has also spent time on the Giants' roster, where he played 17 playoff games during the club's 2009 playoff run, accumulating two goals and four penalty minutes.
