Police in B.C. have arrested another suspect whose name appears on their list of the Top 10 most-wanted car thieves in the province.
This morning, police announced Ashley Elizabeth Graham -- number five on the list -- was arrested in a Port Coquitlam home.
New Westminster police were alerted to a cottage on Coast Meridian Road yesterday after receiving a tip that Graham, 22, was in the residence.
Graham, who was wanted on a warrant for breach of probation, was arrested without incident.
This is the third suspect on the list to be arrested since the names were released by police on April 1.
Yesterday, police announced Geraldo Balmana Adano and Carl Travis Soderstrom -- numbers 10 and six respectively -- had been taken into custody.
Adano, 37, was pulled over while driving a 2001 Mustang that had been reported stolen in New Westminster Tuesday morning. He is wanted for possession of break-in instruments.
Soderstrom was wanted by Chilliwack police for possession of stolen property. After the list was reported April 1, police were alerted that Soderstrom was already in custody in Edmonton on auto theft charges there. He had already pleaded guilty to charges in B.C.
The goal of the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team (IMPACT) is to capture all 10 suspects during April's Auto Crime Enforcement campaign.
