The RCMP are investigating what they're calling the suspicious death of a 17-year-old girl in Burns Lake, in north-central B.C.
Police say they got a call about an unconscious girl at a home Wednesday afternoon and when officers arrived they found the teen was dead.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.
Police are investigating whether anything criminal caused the death and forensic experts were called in to examine the scene.
The name of the girl has not been released.
