A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Surrey, B.C.

Witnesses say they heard two gunshots around 5:30 p.m. Friday outside a home in the 12700-block of 67th Ave.

Police have taped off several residences and are now interviewing nearby homeowners.

Bloodied clothes are visible in the driveway of one home, and police have laid down several evidence markers at the scene.

It's believed a white Acura was seen leaving the area after the shooting, but its not known what connection the occupants of the vehicle have to the scene.

No arrests have been made, and police tell CTV News it is too early to know if the shooting is gang or drug-related.

A neighbour told CTV there have been problems at the house in the past.

The victim has been taken to Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster.

Metro Vancouver has been rocked by a series of gangland-style shootings in 2009. There have been 34 shootings since mid-January -- 14 of them fatal.
