Update: A 12-year-old girl who went missing last week in Surrey, B.C. has been found, according to police.
The child was reported missing on Friday, less than 24 hours after she disappeared. The RCMP said it was out of character for her to be out of touch for that long.
On Monday, Mounties confirmed she has been located.
For privacy reasons, CTV News has removed the child's name and image from the story.
