A B.C. Supreme Court judge has refused to release convicted terrorist Inderjit Singh Reyat on bail.
Reyat, who's the only man convicted in the Air India bombings, will face trial next January on perjury charges.
He's accused of lying more than two dozen times while testifying as a Crown witness in the trial that ended in acquittals for two other men charged in the two Air India bombings 23 years ago.
Earlier this week, Reyat's lawyer asked the court to release him on bail while he awaits trial.
Reyat admitted to supplying parts for the bomb that killed 329 people who were aboard an Air India jet that was blown out of the sky off Ireland's coast in June of 1985.
He also served a 10-year sentence for manslaughter in the deaths of two baggage handlers at Tokyo's airport who were killed at almost the same time as the other flight went down.
