A stroller and a popular toy sold at Toys 'R Us. have been recalled.

About 1700 of the "Baby Jogger City Mini" single and double strollers were sold across Canada from December 2007 to September 2009. The stroller's restraint buckle could break or unlatch allowing the child or infant to fall out. There have been no reports of injuries.

Health Canada recommends parents stop using the stroller until they can contact the distributor --Brands in Motion Inc -- to receive a free replacement restraint buckle and installation instructions.

The second recall involves those block sorters -every baby seems to have. Approximately 4,000 Imaginarium Shape Sorting Cubes were sold at Toys "R" Us stores across Canada. Testing by Health Canada revealed that the surface paint on the toy contains barium in excess of the allowable limit.

Some forms of barium are safely used in medical and commercial applications. Other forms of barium can be toxic, causing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea --and barium levels on toys are restricted in Canada.

Parents are advised to take the toy away from your child and return it to the nearest Toys 'R Us store for an indoor credit.
