Mounties are searching for suspects after a 14-year-old girl was accosted in Chilliwack, B.C., on Saturday night.

Police say the girl was walking south on Gibson Road when a rundown car pulled up beside her. The male driver grabbed her by the arm and told her to get inside.

She managed to break free and escape the situation uninjured. The suspect vehicle left westbound on Yale Road.

The driver is described as a 5-6 tall Caucasian male, 45 years old, with long grey hair and a pot belly. He was wearing a black hoodie and grey sweat pants with paint on them.

His car is described as a red, two-door, older-model car with a rusted roof and hood. The interior was ripped, the back seats had been removed and the passenger side mirror was missing.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Chilliwack RCMP detachment at 604-792-4611.
