DAWSON CREEK, B.C. -- RCMP have identified and ruled out as suspects three people seen on a surveillance tape at a postal outlet where a letter threatening the northern B.C. oil and gas sector was posted.

The three people were among eight shown on surveillance footage as being at the store on Oct. 7 -- the same day the threatening letter was sent to pipeline operator EnCana.

Three bombings have targeted Encana's natural gas operations east of Dawson Creek.

No one has been injured in the blasts.

RCMP say the three identified people have been cleared of any involvement and their pictures have been removed from a police website.

Mounties are continuing to search for the remaining five people in the surveillance photos.
