Update: Court proceedings have been put over until Thursday.

Sixty-one-year-old Gerald Battersby is back in provincial court in Vancouver this morning, facing firearms charges and six counts of attempted murder.

Battersby was arrested June 10th after a man opened fire on at street in the Yaletown neighbourhood, critically injuring one person.

The shooting also prompted a more than kilometre-long chase by police, and more shots fired near Science World at the east end of False Creek.

The critically injured man, 52-year-old bike shop owner Paul Dragan, is recovering in hospital.
