A Vancouver North Shore realtor has been identified as the man shot outside his home this weekend in an apparent targeted hit.
Kenn Buxton, who has worked for Royal LePage for three years, has been described as a family man with one child and another on the way.
Bill Binnie, a managing broker with Royal LePage said Buxton is well respected by his co-workers and they are baffled as to why anyone would want to shoot him.
RCMP Const. Michael McLaughlin has said the shooting had all the hallmarks of a targeted attack. It occurred in a residential neighbourhood in the 400 block of Seymour River Place in North Vancouver.
Police said the victim's injuries are serious. But he is expected to survive.
There were no suspects immediately identified and arrested in the hours after the shooting incident.
