There are now three Metro Vancouver police officers and a school trustee facing impaired driving charges, with the newest revelation involving a North Vancouver Mountie.

Corporal Darren Baker was arrested last December, but word about his charge is only being released now in response to media inquiries.

In the past week, an RCMP officer was arrested for drunk driving in a crash that killed a 21-year-old man in Delta, while word emerged that a New Westminster police officer is facing an impaired driving charge after an incident in North Vancouver.

It was also revealed on Friday that the head of the North Vancouver school board, Chris Dorais was charged with impaired driving after he was stopped in Burnaby last March.
