MILWAUKEE - Triston Grant scored a goal and an assist and Mark Dekanich made 22 saves as the Milwaukee Admirals downed the Abbotsford Heat 4-1 in AHL action Thursday night.
Dave Scatchard opened the scoring for Milwaukee (6-5-2) with his fourth of the year, coming at 8:57 of the first.
Carsen Germyn responded for the Heat with a short-handed marker to tie the game going into the first intermission.
Grant scored his second of the year at 12:57 of the second to give the Admirals the lead, then Hugh Jessiman scored less than a minute later to make it 3-1.
Mark Matheson rounded out the scoring with a third-period goal at 4:21.
Leland Irving stopped 20 of the 24 shots he faced for Abbotsford (8-6-3).
