The BC Lions announced their schedule for the upcoming 2010 season on Monday, and it promises to be one that will please their fans.
Not only will enthusiasts be able to watch seven of the team's nine home games on weekends, but they will also be able to watch the Leos compete at Empire Fields while BC Place undergoes renovation.
The Lions begin their season in Edmonton, battling their division rivals the Eskimos, on Sunday, July 4.
The Lions will open and close their home schedule against the defending West Division champions, the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The home opener will be played on Saturday, July 10. The Lions' final home game will be an afternoon affair against the Roughriders on Sunday, October 31.
The Lions will close out their 57th season in the Canadian Football League a week later in Hamilton, with a matinee game against the Tiger-Cats on November 6.
The rest of the Lions home schedule features five more Saturday matchups and two Friday night games.
