Health Canada is issuing a warning about a popular brand of kid's sandal that may contain a dangerous amount of lead.
The recall includes kids and babies Havaianas flip-flops decorated with paint. It's important to note it's not all products that are affected -- only ones with decorative paint.
About 1,500 of the flip-flops have been sold here since December 2006 and manufactured under a number of brands, including Baby Estampas, Baby Pets and Kids Flores.
The models being recalled in Canada are as follows:
- 4000049-0709 -- Baby Estampas, White
- 4000052-1050 -- Kids Flores, Crystal Blue
- 4000052-2532 -- Kids Flores, Apple Green
- 4000052-2528 -- Kids Flores, Rose
- 4000418-1422 -- Baby Pets, Light Green
- 4000418-1669 -- Baby Pets, Sky Blue

If you have a pair, make sure your kids stop wearing them right away. You can return them to the company for a replacement pair.
