Jason Jaffray scored the go-ahead goal as the Abbotsford Heat beat the Chicago Wolves 3-1 in American Hockey League action Friday.

Johnny Pohl opened the scoring 1:05 into the first for the Wolves (11-9-1).

But Abbotsford (12-9-4) answered five minutes later when defenceman Keith Seabrook scored to tie the game at one.

After a scoreless second period, Jaffray scored and Kris Chucko added an empty-net goal.

Heat goaltender Leland Irving made 21 saves for the win, while at the other end Drew MacIntyre stopped 29 shots.
