A Hells Angel wanted in the beating death of a Kelowna, B.C. man has turned himself in to police.

Robert Leonard Thomas was arrested at the Kelowna RCMP detachment early Wednesday morning. The full-patch HA member is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Dain Phillips on June 12.

A total of seven men are accused in the melee that ended when Phillips, 51, received a fatal blow to the head with a baseball bat at the side of the road near his home. He was pronounced dead in hospital with his wife and family by his side.

Also charged with second-degree murder are Norman Robert Cocks, 31, and his father Robert Charles Cocks, 52, Daniel Joseph McRae, 20, Matthew Thomas McRae, 19, Anson Lloyd Schell, 19, and Thomas Allen Vaughan, 22.
