A riot on Saturday night had patrons of a downtown Vancouver nightclub throwing furniture and scuffling with police -- all of which was captured by cellphone video.
The crowd had been waiting in Richard's on Richards for hours to see New York rapper Necro, who is touring to promote his 2007 album Death Rap.
When they found out the show was cancelled, things turned ugly. Police were called to calm the rowdy crowd.
Some patrons claimed the club had prior knowledge that the show would be cancelled, but its owner denies this, saying he may take legal action against the promoter.
