The courts have ordered protesters in Victoria to tear down their Occupy encampment, but the city says they won't be forcibly removed soon.
A B.C. Supreme Court Judge ruled this morning the camp must be cleared out of Centennial Square by 7 a.m. Saturday.
In his decision, Justice Terence Schultes said freedom of speech arguments weren't strong enough to prevent the city from enforcing its bylaws.
The judge, however, did not give the city powers to enforce the ruling -- that would require a further court order.
Tents numbers have already dwindled in the plaza outside city hall, with several people packing up and leaving voluntarily earlier in the week.
Meanwhile in Vancouver, lawyers will attempt to wrap up arguments as the city fights for its own injunction against Occupy protesters on the lawn of the city's art gallery.
