Surrey RCMP hope to uncover some valuable leads by releasing video of three youngsters in the moments before a six-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a knife-wielding man.
The video was captured July 3rd by a private camera (on 62nd Ave. near the King George Highway).
It shows the three children walking down a street -- with the six-year-old happily skipping behind her elder brother and a friend -- and it also shows a woman walking behind the children.
Investigators don't believe the woman is connected to the incident but they hope she may have seen the suspect pull the youngsters into nearby bushes before attacking the little girl.
