The B.C. Coroners Service is asking the public's help in identifying a man whose body was found floating in Burrard Inlet almost five years ago.

The man is described as a 5'11" Caucasian man, about 190 lbs. and between 45 and 65 years of age. He appears to have had a medical condition known as wryneck, which caused his chin to point to one shoulder, while his head tilted toward the opposite shoulder.

His body was discovered in December 2004, but authorities have yet to identify him. On Friday, the Vancouver Police and the B.C. Coroners Service released facial reconstruction drawings in the hopes that members of the public will be able to recognize the deceased.

He was missing his upper-right front teeth, and all of his remaining teeth were very badly decayed. The man was wearing a green sweater with a colourful design reading "X RAVE" on the front.

Anyone with information on this man is asked to call the Coroners Service at 1-877-660-5077, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
