There were some emotional statements Thursday from the family of a 21-year-old Delta, B.C. man, who was killed in a drunk driving crash allegedly involving a Mountie.
The grandmother of Orion Hutchinson read a statement by the victim's mother Judith and sister Daria, who said Orion had just finished a trades program at British Columbia Institute of Technology and was excited about starting a new job on Monday.
The grandmother, Faye Daly, also described Orion's love for nature and his passion to see Egypt's pyramids.
Hutchinson's father Glen, a Delta firefighter, thanked all those who tried to help his son after the accident.
