Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of Abbotsford resident Angela Crossman last year, CTV News has learned.

Crossman, 39, was found off a logging road on June 11, 2009, by a group of people setting out on a fishing trip at the popular Chehalis Lake campground.

The cause of death was never released, but B.C.'s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said Crossman was met with foul play because of marks found on her body.

Investigators will make an announcement about an arrest and charges on Wednesday morning.

The day before her body was found, Crossman was treated for an undisclosed medical issue at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

A twist came a month after the investigation began, when Crossman's roommate Alex Paul, who described himself as the "one and only suspect" in her death, was shot and killed at an Abbotsford home.
