Abigail Turner
ContactAbigail Turner is a reporter for CTV News Vancouver.
She's a prairie transplant who grew up in rural Manitoba and attended Brandon University, where she received the Charles Vernon Myers Journalism Award. She later completed a diploma in interactive media at Assiniboine Community College.
Abigail started her journalism career with an internship at Global News in Saskatchewan, then moved back to Manitoba to work as a reporter and host with CityNews Winnipeg.
In 2018, she joined Global News in Winnipeg, where she spent three years reporting live, producing and filling in as a host for the Morning Show. She moved her alarm clock ahead in 2021 to start reporting for the 6 p.m. newscast as a video-journalist.
Abigail loves adventure and meeting new people, so in 2022 she made the move to Vancouver to report for CTV News. When she’s not chasing stories, you can find her exploring her new city by biking trails and finding the best neighborhood coffee shop.
