Two more people have been charged in connection with Vancouver's Stanley Cup riot, including a university student who wrote in an online apology that she stole a pair of men's pants as "a souvenir."
The charges against 21-year-old Dustin Anderson of Burnaby and 21-year-old Camille Cacnio of Richmond bring the total count from the June 15 riot to 77 charges approved against 30 people.
Anderson is charged with participating in a riot and assault, while Cacnio is charged with participating in a riot and break and enter.
The weekend after violence and looting spread through downtown Vancouver, Cacnio wrote a lengthy apology on her blog, admitting to stealing a pair of pants from Black & Lee and saying that she was "not proud of my actions."
The University of B.C. student said she had turned herself in to police and returned the pants.
