Mounties say a young driver who lost control and crashed into a house in Burnaby Thursday evening was teaching his father how to drive.
The vehicle drove into the front of a home on Humphries Avenue around 8 p.m., leaving windows broken and causing visible damage to the exterior of the residence.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, though it’s unclear how the accident will affect the people living at the house.
Mounties said neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash, and that it appears the young driver behind the wheel just made a mistake.
