SURREY, B.C. - One man has been injured in a home invasion in Surrey, B.C.

RCMP say they were called at about 1:30 a.m., to a home on 72nd Avenue in the Newton neighbourhood.

They found an injured 35-year-old man at the house.

He is now recovering in hospital and is expected to survive.

Police say two men broke into the home and attacked the victim before fleeing.

Investigators believe the incident was targeted and the attackers knew their victim.
