Mounties are investigating a crash that killed a truck driver in the Fraser Valley Monday.

The RCMP said a logging truck flipped onto its side on the Lougheed Highway in Deroche and dumped some of its load into a ditch.

The driver, a man whose name hasn’t been released, died.

It’s unclear what caused the accident, but Mounties said no other vehicles were involved.

Drivers have been warned the highway is likely to be closed in the area for several hours.
